What kind (brand, type) of training treats do you all recommend for my pit bull pup? Id like something bite size so he can swallow it fast and not lose intrest in the training and wander off to chew on his treat! Also something that wont mess up his diet (canidae als) too much! Anyone have any website info with training tips and tricks? or should I just go to the library?

I use the all natural dried lamb lungs from Wal-mart. They are really cheap and you can break them into small pieces.
I had alot of success with clicker training. There are alot of websites on it. www.clickersolutions.com (http://www.clickersolutions.com) is one of them.

I use the freeze dried all natural liver. The dogs love that and its a healthy snack. I buy the huge tub and it lasts awhile.

I bake my own liver brownies and chicken brownies. They love them. I can put the indgredients that I want in them this way. No white flour, flax seed or meal, garlic, fish oil, whatever I desire. They liked them so well that when offered liver bits at the class we go to by our trainers, they won't take them.

I use dried calamari (a popular beer snack here but it is hard to find ones without added salt), frozen bits of apple or banana peel, dry bread, bits of artificial crab leg, cheese, even yogurt-covered cherries.
