Anyone know how to do this?

I am in the air about getting him done and I would like a theoretical "before and after" to help me decide.

Yeah, I want something that has some ear to it... i would never crop a dog that short. Diesels ears are too short for me. I prefer a medium cut with 1 1/2 of ear up there. Now quite show length but not short either.

Keep the ears, pitbull's really have so much personality eminating from 'em. Mine's got like ten or fifteen different ear positions all telling me he wants to eat, now.

Yea... I'm with SEAL. The ears being two different colors are pretty neat. But whatever you chose! Good luck if you go for it.

I vote you should keep them on! I think natural ears are less likely to attract unnecessary attention to yourself and your dog. Another reason is simply that since he was born with perfectly healthy ears, there really isn't any point to crop them. And as a couple of others mentioned, the two different coloured ears look nice, sort of adds character.

i like the fact that he has a white face with a white ear and a blue ear hangen over that pretty white mug.

ill agree w/ the others. 2 ears, 2 colors, thats sick !

You make a compelling argument. While I do typically crop males and leave females natural... I am thinking you might be right.
Can anyone show me what Adebisi might look like?

I am still fishing for a name... this whole "puppies!" is running its course, lol.

I just hate the floppy stage, i know he will grow into them, but they look way too big for is head, lol.

Diesel, although not what you were asking for in the thread...I too vote leave those ears! That one blue ear is beautiful, it would be a shame to cut it. The other pups do what you wish, but man it would be a crime to crop the first pups ears!

Diesel, if you look at the ears, you can see that they are already folding over the top of the head. In my experience of doing crops with ears like these, no matter how good of a crop job is done nor how good the vet is, the ears always end up folding over the top of the dog's head. And in my opinion, it looks completely shitty.

Diesel

Yeah.. the more I think about it the more I think you guys are right. He has a great headpiece and while a good crop could set it off a bad one would kill him... and I just dont think the trade off will be worth it.

For once I agree wholeheartedly with you. :D A bad crop job, even if it's just the result of the poor ear structure, will basically ruin your dog's "look" IMO. Keep 'em natural. ;)

I think that this pup in particular should keep his ears, the way that one is white and the other grey would not be so apparent with a crop and he has so much character this way.

i think the grey and white pup and the black one both look good cropped. just get a vet that has alot of experience we have a vet we always use and he does a wonderful job. i always take a pic of exactly what i want and he does an awesome job.

Now I like this one. I think this crop would look great. I don't like cropping any of my dogs ears but his one might look good. Kepp the blues ears normal, he looks good that way.
