Are there any dogs out there that are well proven that are not decended from any of these famus bloodlines? I guess I just want to know what new bloodlines exist that are of good quality and do not carry a hoard of famus names or are there any? Just curious...

A bloodline takes more than one proven dog to create it. A bloodline is not developed until a proven dog proves himself time & time again & in many ways including reproducing desired offspring who also do well. It takes many, many, many, many years to "create" a "bloodline".

As for asking about "proven" dogs, well, good luck in your search but I highly doubt you'll find your answers here. ;)

it is possible to create one but it will take a long long time

With such an overpopulation of "pitbull" dogs in shelters and the lack of good dogs in responsible breeders hands that suggestion does not even seem logical. Besides, most that want to create a bloodline simply want the ego boost that comes with putting their name in front of generation after generation on paper, and not actually improving their yard above anyone elses.

Yes, Gr. Ch. 35
Many others but I'm just not recalling off the top of my head today. :(

I agree with you in many ways. But all good bloodlines do is enhance your chances of getting a good dog, it does not guarantee it.
Good dogs are where you find them.
Dog makes the papers, papers don't make the dog.
I could tell some great stories of the pass about unknown dogs but this isn't the time and place for those kind of stories. :))))))))

Why I always said the bloodline is the breeder, take us as case in point. Our dogs are never referred to by one of our dogs but by our last name.
That is from years of having many well known dogs from "A" kennel.

Example, when people say Boudreaux, most are quick to say Eli. What about Blind Billy, Boze etc...
BTW he was the owner of Turhan's Rascal for his whole life.

You are right, a line is made up of many dogs..

Ahhhh...one of my favorite quotes:

"I'd rather have an inch of dog than miles of pedigree" :)

I hope I wasn't misinturpreted, I don't really mean bloodlines, I'm just wondering what well proven dogs there are that don't have famus blood, I understand all you are saying. I'm just curious as to if there are any who kind of "came out of nowhere" because I am sure there are great dogs out there with no famus names in there peds. and of these dogs (if there are any that can be counted for) what bloodlines would they be mixed with. Anyone have a pic of Gr. Ch 35? I'de like to see. Thanks
