depends on what organization you are pulling with. Most of them are the same, but if you go to the UKC, ADBA, IWPA, or APA sites, under the rules section, they will have the specification.

It really depends of which org you are going to be pulling with. ADBA dosen't really have set specks for tracks (only rails and carts in ADBA no one pulls wheels on dirt there). UKC has their own specks as does the APA. But you can build one to fit ADBA, UKC and APA standards. :) Hi Im new to this site and just became a member, I wanted to say that this last weekend about 15 of us got together and formed our own pulling competition and it paid off literly.
We had about 50 or so contestants first place took home $300 sec $100 and 3rd $50 & a gift cert to Petsmart. We had barbeque tri-tip and chicken plates. Most important was that their was no politics involved and were looking to get the APBT involved but right now we just started and we want to do the same event because it was fun and their was a reason to go to the competition the judges were scoring by weight and elimination for your dogs weight class, for example your dog weighs 60#-90# it has three attemps the most weight pulled wins for that weight class we only had two weight classes and it wasn't that even but we just started. Trial and error. we hope to work all the bugs out by the next event coming up in June anybody intrested can
