Some good friends of mine are going. Wish I could go, but I can't show so that's a long way to just watch.

I'll be going with my male if I have the money. Anyone know how much hotels are and which ones allow pets? Or I thought about camping(remember bahamutt, lol). Sooo, are there any parks around I could camp at?

LOL. Sometimes you can camp right on the showgrounds and use their bathrooms and electricity and stuff. (I would ask first of course.)

I just called a campground in the Odessa area, but they don't accept pit bulls. Although, Motel 6 does... I dunno

Does anyone know what TIME the show starts?

Someone told me "In the ADBA, we get started when we're good and ready. You know, after we've had a few beers." Or something like that. LOL! You should probably plan on being there by 8 or 9. Most likely, you'll end up waiting around for a bit, but just in case the show gets started on time, you don't want to miss entries.

I looked on ADBA's Website and it said there were two shows each day, does that mean a total fee of $72 if you want to enter all shows or what?

We'll be there.
There is limited camping on site, $15.00 a night. Motel 6 and Delux Inn are both around $40.00 a night.
If you entered all 4 shows, it would be $72.00 per dog.
Here's one of the clubs website:

Well I did well this weekend. My male took a 1st and Ch'd in the first show under Ronnie Ewing. My female took a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd and is 6 points from Ch. If all goes well she will pick up her final 6 points in Liberty. I'm happy with my two. I am new to the whole world of APBT ADBA dog shows and CH-ing both of mine in a little over a year is quite fulfilling. Being a true rookie I've learned alot, met alot of great folks, and have seen some amazing dogs.

We did pretty well ourselves in Odessa...
I CH'd out my Maggie girl (in under a year and her having a litter of pups during that time to boot).. She took a 1ST, and Best of Opposite the first show, a 1ST, and Best of Opposite the second show...then we pulled her out of the regular classes, put her in CH of CH for the 3rd where she didn't place, but in the 4th show she took a 2nd place ribbon. I couldn't be prouder!! She's only stepped in the ring 1 time (her first time showing in CH of CH) and not taken a ribbon or a trophy.... Looking to make her a GR CH by this time next year...lol
My 4-6 month old female took 2 - 1ST, a 2nd and a 3rd.
My 12-18 month male, TOBY took a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd.
My 12-18 month male RASCAL took 2 - 3rds..
It was a long tiring weekend but fun as always!! I can't wait until the next show!!
