Help me!!

I have a 7 week old pit. I was wondering is it normal for him to try and bite my hand when I stick it in his face. He normally licks my hand and my face, but now he is opening his mouth as if he is going to bite me. I did a search in this site, but I could not find what I am looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is he nipping while playing? Being so young 1.) he shouldnt of been taken from his mama yet but thats another story and 2.) it should be fairly easy to curb the behavior.
Everytime he does it simply yell "No biting!" and either hold his mouth together or slap him on the nose. Immediately after ignore the pup and let him know your serious and its not a joking matter. Only play with him when he's not biting and correct the problem again if it happens. Probably want to get him to stop this as soon as possible, those puppy teeth are sharp huh?!
