My pup Nestle' is 4 months old, 19 weeks. And I am feeding her 2 times a day 1 and 1/2 cups each time. I am feeding Costco brand Kirkland dog food (adult). I was wondering if this is too much food for her? She is pretty active and has a daily walk as well. Please let me know what you think...

She looks a little heavy, though read the thread below about the food you're feeding her.

Thanks for the reply I did read that post on the dog food and just went and bought some new food. Dick Van Pattens. She has always liked that. On the lable it says feed puppies twice the recommended amount.

Adult dog 16-30 lbs 1- 2 cups daily. So what should I be feeding her in your opinion? I was thinking 2 cups....
Let me know

Don’t go by what the bag says, as much as what your pups body says. If she is too skinny being feed 2 cups a day, increase to 2 ½ cups or if slightly heavy decrease to 1 ¾ cups a day.

Looked up that Diamond recall a bit more and it number 1 is only on the eastcoast. I live on the westcoast. Second it says that it was a fungus growing in the corn crops, Kirkland brand dog food doesn't contain any corn or corn meal in there dog food. I am still looking into it, but have decided that it is still not that bad. I was just over feeding her.

Thanks again...
