I think it wold work well if both of the parents are proven

I think is all a shot in the dark ohav4.
the key is Crossfire has heavy percentages of the blood he is crossing.... and he (crossfire) has been at this for a few weeks now....;):D

I had a bitch - double bred frisco on top and jeep on the bottom. She was a cur. Both parents were proven. There were maybe 2 decent dogs out of the litter. The rest were curs.

Crossfire, you may want to check out proline-kennels.com. He has a bitch, "Adelina Negra", that he bred to one of his studs "Snoop", which is a jeep/redboy dog. He may can give you a little insight on how that turns out.

If memory serves me right (and it does most of the time!), B who has experience with a bunch of Chinaman dogs stated crossing to Jeep will throw many more curs/cold dogs than alternative outcrosses. I believe he stated the same when crossing to Redboy!

Try outcrossing to Eli, Bolio, or little Gator...if it works when bred to Chinaman, it may work with Frisco!

Redboy/Chinaman can produce gamedogs but then you lack everything the Chinaman adds to the table like mouth, athleticism and ability unless you keep the Chinaman 3/4 or more of the pedigree. The Jeep/Chinaman dogs I've seen were poorer than sticking with just the original stuff. I have not heard a resounding amount of success when crossing those two. There have been a few good dogs but nothing worth getting excited about. The simple fact in my opinion is that there are plenty of better more proven crosses that bring more to the table.

Regards,

B

I like it! I being a fan of the Frisco, I'd do it the other way around with the Friscur on top but thats just me. I like what your doing there anyway. Norvell57 I had a rough time getting halfway bred dogs to but its paid off now. Depends on what your breeding for, pure brood blood, 50/50 cross or battle crosses. I have a little bit of everything I like. Some 50/50 and some scattered, smothered and covered as long as its game. I'd breed a Turtle into it if it gets the job done. So watch out for slow moving dogs with snapping turtle heads!

B is right about that! If you cross say, the jeep into Red boy you would do better and then put the Frisco on top. It works, I have one to prove it and she has less mouth than a pure or 75% Frisco dog but I have the blood to add back into the offspring if. A few breedings off your yard and you can have many different ways you can breed it.

C you need to hook that Frisco Bitch up to The Ruckus dog if possible. Littermate to Gunner. There's your cross.

as much eli that is in honeybunch........why wouldnt it work ran to chinaman blood???

jeep chinaman cross would and has worked. just like the redboy chinaman. even with the bolio as the kicker through frisco. the real question is would there be a high % of well rounded k9 atheletes with this kind of hybrid vigor? and would they continue to produce themselves in future generations? any scatter bred mutt can produce a good dog if you breed it enough and know what your doing. here is the real problem.......TOO MANY PEOPLE CATIGORISE FAMILY'S OF DOGS AS A WHOLE AND DO NOT PLACE ENOUGH EMPHISIS ON INDIVDUAL DOGS AND THERE CHARECTORISTICS..... which is why there is a clash between best to best breeders and pedigree buffs. be open to try any family as an out if you feel that "indivual dog" has what you lack.
