Help with rescue dog.

I have this femaile pit I rescued. I tried very hard to find her home but never did so now I am thinking about keeping her. I took her to the vet and he said she is about 1-1&1/2. Is she still trainable? I really like her.

Yep! There is no problem training an older dog! And actually, your dog is still a "pup"!

Do a search on "training" here & read all there is to offer. I also suggest finding a trainer near you (no, not Petsmart) that is knowledgable & reputable & signing up for obedience class. There isn't a dog out there that doesn't need obedience classes.
