Its a basic wormer, that covers most worms other than tapes and heart worms. Its very effective on pups and safer for them as well at a young age. Common brands are Strongid and Nemex, although there are alot of brands out there.

Different brands are different dosages, depending on the concentration of the pyrantel paomate. Strongid is 1cc per 10lbs...Walmart sells one that is 1cc per lb, and I have also seen 1cc per 5lbs...like all medicines, know what you are using before you dose it.
