View Full Version : My New Foster Shasta Daisy!
Well, I'm not sure on the name thing as I thought her name was Shasta but the ladies that brought her were calling her Daisy and when I checked back on the shelter site it said Shasta Daisy! Well, whatever her name I'll just call her beautiful! :) She looks like an Am. Staff or a show line pit. Just absolutely stunning and from what I can tell so far, smart as a whip! The ladies who brought her were very nice and thankful to have a connection in rescue as they come across many great pits but fear for their safety as they often deal with people who are not advocates for the breed in the shelters in their area. So, hopefully this is the start of a good relationship in seeing some of the beauties they come across get into loving homes! I can't wait to get to know her better! I haven't had a chance to take any new pictures yet so these are her shelter shots. You can check out her petfinder page in the Bully Buddies link in my signature! :D

She's a beauty. God bless you Zoe for doing what you do with these animals. I'm sure you have a place waiting for you in heaven.
I do it for completely selfish reasons. It's like my birthday everyday! Getting to hang out with cool new dogs all the time and getting to see them go into loving homes and live out their life span as a beloved family member. It's no great sacrifice on my part. I feel completely lucky to have the chance. The people who really deserve the praise is those who do all the leg work like screaning applicants, home visits, dealing with shelters, all the crappy stuff. The biggest props go to Sam who runs Bully Buddies. This girl is tireless in her efforts. She has a huge heart and amazes me daily with her efforts. :)

It's still great that you foster them.
I never knew there was a flower with that name until someone pointed it out. Now I get the double name thing! You learn something new everyday. We may already have a line on someone interested in her. Keep your fingers crossed!
