Turns out the six year old boy is allergic to dogs and I'm not talking runny nose and itchy eyes. This kid was hospitalized the reaction was so extreme. :eek: The whole family is devestated and of course, the poor little guy who is still in the hospital is more concerned with loosing his dog that being so ill. :(

P.S. This really brings back memories of a dog the girlfriend had years back when I met her :( one of the best damn dogs I've ever known. Hope the kid gets better. Isnt there meds that the kid can take to overcome the allergies and still have his dog?

CiCi has actually gone on to a new foster home. We had a new foster just approved and we figured we would set them up with one of the easy girls for their first go and CiCi fit the bill. I hated having to say good bye to her again but it's great we have someone else willing to help. Plus, I can't hog ALL the pitty love can I? And of course I always loose the easy girls to other foster homes and get stuck with the pains in the but! I have become the official boot camp. lol At least it opens up another space at my house which of course is already filled with an urgent girl coming from Victoria on Vancouver Island. I've had kind of a string of easy dogs so I'm expecting a real doozey sometime soon! I wonder if she will be it? :eek: I've got a thing for the firecrackers! ;) Today was CiCi's first day with her new foster family and she is doing great so far. I wouldn't expect anything less as she is such a sweet girl! :) The family that had to give her up got her a new coat so this is the last image I have of her! LOL We apparently couldn't let her leave with ONE OUNCE of dignity!
