Thought I would share some pictures of my apbt's doing some catch work here in south texas...
If they are imprinted properly and trained repetitively, the APBT can be the best small game catch dog on the planet. I happened to know Maurice Carver and spent time with him on his Hill back when I was just getting my start. He once said "The APBT can do anything any other dog can do, and after...
Anyone know how to properly cure a cowhide?

What's everyones opinion on college football and these crazy new uniforms and helmets? I think last year oregon had a different uniform for every game and then the rose bowl with there chrome helmets. Now Rutgers is sporting the chrome helmets. A part of me thinks there pretty cool but there's the...
This may be quite a long shot but here goes. I live in the UK now in the boonies that is west suffolk. I'm originally from New Jersey so I have no outdoors experience other. Than the Air Force. I want to know more about hunting with my mutt to me at least she seems very eager to search and chase...
Anyone else using their dogs, with or without other breeds for lamping?
At what age can I let my Pit-bull hang from the spring pole without his feet touching the ground?
Will appreciate the info.
Can anyone share videos of how you use the flirt pole and the pattern of movement?
Didn't work out so much
Keeps this old grandpa fit as well:cool:
Anyone looking foward to this fight? My bro odered it so I get to watch for free this time lol. Canelo I think is on his way to a comeback and weill be more focaused and a better fighter now with that L. Angulo is more of a slugger. Prototypical fighter when you think of mexican boxers. Head says...
my last pit bull realy liked working with the spring pole and playing tug-a-war, one day at a BBQ i had my boy out there everyone realy liked watching as he worked the spring pole but one friend whom had owned many pit bulls told me i was teaching him a bad habit. I did notice a change in his mood...
I just bought some cowhide from Springwater kennels. I put the bag in front of her she showed interest. Went to ace hardware and drilled a hole 2 inches and put the rope through. When I put the cowhide on the flirt pole she goes nuts and chases it till she can't but she can't hold it and play tug...

No explanation, just results. Gonna start Ratting pretty soon now that the squirrel season is over.
Hi guys ,
Whats better in youre opinion and why?
a carpet mill or a treadmill or slat mill....
This was the last of the season squirrel hunting with the dogs and the slingshots. I will start going for the RATs for the spring and summer, then in the Fall going back to the bigger stuff, but remain with the small game. PS
Anyone involved with the upcoming season? Any thoughts on cant miss picks?
We had a three day wilderness survival skills training, with the Bulldogs of course. The total was five armadillos (didn't show all of the armadillos because too graphic). Three ducks, with slingshot only, on the wing. And finished with three squirrels with slingshot only, plus a lot of help from...
Missed the picture on the first try, this is the picture I intended to post on the previous....PS
Just about finished with the season, and a strong finish to boot. Bulldogs on squirrels in the woods; It's a Beautiful Thing.....PS
if a dog quits at a sport like weight pull or tug of war does this show a good indication he is not game he is almost two and after an intense tug of war for the first time he just droppd the rope.
Stepped out early this morning and found these three. The dogs found them for us and we and the dogs dispatched them. Got one on the ground running in a zigzag to throw the dogs off, super fun chase through the woods. What fun it is too see the dogs trying too catch a squirrels through the woods....
Does anyone have a set workout plan they use to get their dogs conditioned?? and keep them in that shape?
This year I've been wanting to learn more about hunting with dogs and was just looking for hunters in central FL that wouldn't mind helping a n00b.
I tried to join the Texas board from another thread but registration is closed.
thanks all :)
Mine, after I left the dog game as Mad&Skip, we had a good run, I take mine to the field and work the small game.
I bet Seattle on the money line. I also loved the parlay with the under(37.5), fat chance when your giving up 21 points off turnovers and a kick return td.
I went to eat during the half time show. So, to have interest in that abomination was very hard.
All in all, a horrible Super Bowl....
Pictures for our last 3 hunts
