This dog has come a long way in 2 years and I'm glad my daughter fell in love with him and I decided to keep him around because he has been a very good dog in many ways especially the last 5 months. When I first drove to Michigan to pick him up from Shane at Chainyanker Kennels I thought man ol man is that one ugly pup. Charlie had a big ol head with a long snout and those huge triangle Mayday style ears. He also had a very weak looking ass end and his head was too big for his scrawny lil body. I also hated his color. I worked hard the last year and a half on his ass end by working him on the springpole often, along with long walks where he drags me the whole time. We usually walk 3 miles every day unless it's pouring down rain. I have fed him the best foods out there and He has turned out to be a very handsome fella in my eyes and a weak ass end I would never say he has now a days, thats a hard driving, forward pushing hound right there, his color has even grown on me a little bit but it's still an ugly color to me but I don't really care much about what color they are as long as they aim to please.

I've been breeding the Hawaiian Rednose for a little over 20 yrs. now. The bloodline as everyone has mentioned is Togashi. But, the other one that no one has mentioned is Donnybrook Red Baron x Rivera's Toughie. I can trace these lines only so far back in my pedigrees. Maybe someone can enlighten me on the ancestors of these Rednose. And yes they are not pure OFRN but probably more than 50 percent. I am looking for a Rednose stud for my female of the same line from Hawaii. If anyone knows of anybody PLEASE let me know.
