Hi browny, CHICO is a nice looking dog. Regarding his injuries, I would hand walk him. Start off at one hour and add 5 minutes a day. After a month of this you will be up to 3 and half hours or 14 to 15 miles. Try and vary the terrain, turf, dirt or tarmac and this will prevent any stress on his joints. As long as you feed him accordingly he should be in good shape.

Browny, I'm assuming it's still cold where you are. I'd let him warm up first by hand walking if you want to run him. Letting him run when he's still cold is a good way to keep injuring him. Try running in cold weather without warming up first and see if you hurt something.

63 lbs? Is that a fact or just a thought from the pictures? He looks more than 63 lbs if he stands 24'' at the shoulders. Nice Amstaff btw, there's just something about white dogs that really catches my eye.

To be honest it's not the best type of dog for the SBT and the way they should look like, this looks more like an Am Staff.
