4got 2 write a post, lol, love patts, balls of steal. He was roughly 6mths in the pics above, much stronger now at 8mths altho wont keep still long enough 4 pics! typical of them! I have a patt ***** also, a smooth coated black & tan fell terrier, who obviously is more tiny! She can go to ground, he cant, although he is my silent disaster, never heard a peep out of him.

I think I would put my money on the KC Staffy in fairness, jut too much weight, would be like me a grown man fighting a 14 year old, no doubting there ballsy but balls wont win everything

After keeping pitbulls for 12years,i didnt think there was another dog that could match it?after owning a Patterdale terrier for the last 16months i now think differently.The've got skills to pay the bills.

A patterdale is more the size of a Jack Russel not a ****in Staffy man..on average the Patt would be pushing 20 pounds...not exactly fair ya know? gameness cant win if it dies first..now that being said i love Patts but i wouldnt put a 15 lb Patt down against a 35 lb Staffy i'd be sending my lil homie to his death..unless he was just super Patt

There are 30lb patterdales out there with mouthfuls of knives(and not bull bred).American patterdale fanciers seem to prefer a smaller type (for smaller groundhog burrows)

Corsoqueen, truly nice terrier but why in the world would you write something so silly. This is why the game boys agree on weight... every pound counts.... and in this case there are just too many pounds between the two.

and as stated several times... Patts are not a fighting breed, no doubt they are tough as nails and will go head on no fear.... BUT fighting is not in their breeding as a Stafford though it is way back in time.

Keep in mind the KC staffords do vary, several are leggy and lean..... they just aren't show winners is all.

Enjoy digging.... if you want a fighting dog.... get one bred for that purpose.

What a confused post. I could be wrong but after reading that post im pretty sure you aren't around either sbt's or patterdales. If I was to have a patt that fired up on another dog in a moment of excitement, that would be absolutely chaos, no good at all. And if I kept sbt's like my great grandfather John Bright that couldn't take care of its business with any animal it outweighed by 15 or 20 lbs then well, same result different dog right? One is a hunting terrier and the other is a pure dog fighter. When we hunt ( for sure twice a week) we drop two terriers one a male and the other a female and if they argue its to the box they go. Do it more than 3 times well then that's the end of that breeding program. You do as you do and I will likewise. But to drop a hunting terrier in the box is pure stupidity in my world.
