Question about ear cropping?

Could you guys help me in some questions that I have.

1. About whats the price range to have this done

2. How smooth is the healing process of something of that nature

And please if Im forgetting an important question on the subject, Please call me out on it. I have no problem looking dumb:)

And please if Im forgetting an important question on the subject, Please call me out on it. I have no problem looking dumb:)well it's a big debate here. some people absolutely hate it, while others believe it is an owners choice sort of thing.

anyway, you should expect to pay in the range of $175 all the way to $350 for it. i know vets that charge both of those prices.

the healing process is like any. keep it clean. do the follow up the vet recommends. be prepared for things to go wrong though. as in all surgery it can and does occasionally.

biggest suggestion is don't let some idiot hack do it in a garage or anything like that.

make sure the vet knows what YOU want, not what HE wants. taking a picture of something you want is always a good idea. ;)

Yeah for real. There is only a few vets that will do it the way you want it where i live and the rest only do it how they are comfortable doing it. I pay 150 and that includes everything. And the healing process can be easy and it can also be a pain. Make sure it stays clean and if you have another dog allow them to clean the ears for the pup as it will speed up the healing process.

Im not sure if I will be doing it just yet, I just kinda wanted to know a little info from you guys before I started looking into it from my vet. Because Im not even sure if they will do it..
