From those crappy pics you've taken :) he doesnt look like you should be emberr***ed to show him. Theyre called fun shows for a reason, condition him, show him and meet some new people.

I want to thank every one for the comments on Magyar Warlord. He does look very much like his momma. If he shows out like her or even close I will be sick with pride. Sedalia is doing a great job with him. Makes me very proud. My eyes are welling up. He is looking so good for still being under a year old.

also Magyar is verry calm so that makes him easy to stack. He stacks up nice I just wish I can get someone to take a picture of him being stacked. I,m usually the one taking the pictures and I,m ususally the one handeling the dogs so its hard to get the pictures that I want.

Try and take him to a fun show as a puppy see how he does, and he does look good from the pictures, try and take better ones, like side, front, and some headshots. ;)

That's a beautiful dog, and I would think he'd do well. But, from what I hear, brindle's don't do so well in shows because it's hard to see muscle definition on them or something. But at his age I don't think judges would be looking for a whiole lot in that department. Good luck to ya!

My cousin from germany has a brindle pit, and he has placed in many conformation shows, hmm... who knows maybe thats just in Europe.

People keep saying brindles dont place, wtf? it doesnt matter what color the Dog is, its the whole conformation of the dog. I just think some people should stop saying that brindles are bad at conformation shows.

ya, but they can keep saying that and my dogs will keep placing above theirs and they can believe what they want. I start training the pups to hit that stack from the time they are just a few weeks old. So while others are fighting their dogs to get them in line and to stand right and farting around. I am drinking a cold one and done with it all. I think brindles are great at conformation shows. Those that feel otherwise probably have bluff dogs with that botox look to them. lol

I thought I anwserd that he is 9 months oldcool we will be in the same cl*** together when i show bronson at sedalia and kellyville. good luck with him! he is a fine looking dog for sure!
edit: oh and btw a brindle pup took best puppy at one of the shows in texas. they may not place as often as other dogs but i think that is only cuz there are less brindles showing most of the time and that leads people to think they place less. it's a percentage thing. less brindles.......less places as they are outnumbered by the other colors of dogs so much. IMO

and then them crazy actin dogs placed, i was later told that the particular judge liked dogs that showed alot of "personality"(sp?)

There is a difference in excited and no control with no form. I like them to be keyed up too. I don't like them acting like they have a cattle prod stuck in their *** though. Acting like they never seen a lead before.

Good luck with Magyar at the show. I'm trying to arrange to show up for my usual round of Judges Choice, if I can shave enough of those unauthorized treats off Loki to make it worth me bringing her out. LOL
