Eli dogs cross well with just about every line there is oput there today.. Give me a ped and I'll try to point you in a good direction

Try a GOOD SOLID redboy, snooty or carver bred dog. Make sure its a dog worth breeding to.

ONCE AGAIN i gonna TRY and say WHY CROSS keep the damn line PURE or as PURE as THAT line can get.....dont cross your %'s will be ALOT higher and you got better bulldogs that way....

What makes a dog off of pure lines better than a dog that is not. You wouldn't have good dogs like Chinaman if it wasn't for crossing if your line lacks something than why not cross to try and bring your line up a notch. The APBT would not as great as it is without crossing. Most bloodlines we have to day come off crosses. You are taking a gamble when you cross and when you stay in the line. (not trying to start anything just my opinion.)

I like the Eli X Patrick cross, always works great. I plan on possibly trying a Coy X Patrick cross and seeing how that works.

If your dog is worthy of breeding..I would take it to a Carver bred dog...Maybe heavy in the Ironhead blood. Better yet look around for a 3/4 Eli x 1/4 Carver bred dog.

BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO REREAD THE FIRST POST. LITTLE TO NO INFO WAS GIVEN AS TO HIS REASONS FOR WANTING TO BREED, SO AS SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO ASSIST, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FAIR TO BRING OUT THESE ISSUES. If it is inbred heavy to the Eli you could make the cross into a GOOD and I mean Good Redboy/Jeep or Jeep/Redboy dog if your after something to set u up! The redboy/jeep is a line of its own now anyway so if its been bred and stacked right then you can up your % of quality dogs! but thats just my take on it. It works! I have a few dogs bred this way. The Redboy and Jeep work hand and hand and if you do this you will see a change in the quality of dogs you have.

One of best crosses to be made with the Eli line, was with the 'ROM' Snooty dog. Snooty was an extremely intelligent dog who added the highly desirable traits of pit intelligence and style. Eli dogs tended to be barnstorming dogs and this would lead to short-windedness. The Snooty cross corrected this problem without sacrificing the highly desirable Eli traits. Probably the best known dog from this cross was the 4xw Ch. Chinaman 'ROM'. Chinaman had it all and has subsequently produced a superior line of dogs. The Chinaman dogs consistantly throw intelligent, powerful, game dogs with a lot of mouth, literally a complete package. These dogs are true fast lane quality and continue to make an ongoing impact in today's sporting era. It would be impossible to list all the quality dogs that came directly or indirectly from Eli Jr., Bullyson, or Brendy, because their impact on the sport continues on today. Their are literally hundreds of famous dogs who owe their success to the Eli line and its originator Floyd B. and it would take an archive of novels to list the accomplishments of them all. This article much like the one about Red Boy only serves to scratch the surface of this famous breed.

A little info i would like u 2 know that i have learned....

The Jeep/Red Boy line seems to offer the best that both lines have to offer in a 75/25 combination. That would be a 75% Jeep dog, with 25% of quality Red Boy blood. The higher the percentage of Red Boy in this mix brings down the quality of this line, as the undesirable traits of the Red Boy line will appear.
